Apple Invites App Launched, Lets Users Send Customised Invitations
Now available on the App Store worldwide, Apple Invites can create invitations and lets users personalise them.

Apple has launched Apple Invites, a new app that lets iPhone users share custom invitations with friends and family. Now available on the App Store worldwide, Apple Invites lets users create invitations and personalise them with photos from the iPhone gallery, preset wallpapers, custom colours, locations, and other elements. These custom invites can be “easily” shared with an option for RSVP.
“With Apple Invites, an event comes to life from the moment the invitation is created, and users can share lasting memories even after they get together,” said Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud. “Apple Invites brings together capabilities our users already know and love across iPhone, iCloud, and Apple Music, making it easy to plan special events.”
How does Apple Invites work?
Apple Invites users can even integrate information from Maps and Weather apps to give guests directions to the event and the scheduled day's forecast. Participants can also contribute photos and videos to a dedicated Shared Album for each invite “to help preserve memories and relive the event.” Apple Invites also supports collaborative playlists from Apple Music, but users are required to have an active subscription to be able to create a curated event soundtrack for guests.
Those with compatible iPhone models, such as the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, can use Apple Intelligence to create “unique” event invites by adding original AI-generated images with the help of Image Playground. Apple's Writing Tools can help users find “just the right turn of phrase to meet the moment.”
Apple Invites is available to iCloud+ subscribers only, but guests can view and respond to an invitation using the iPhone app or on the web without needing a subscription. However, attendees can control how their details show up to others, leave, or report an event “at any time.”
iCloud+ subscriptions start at ₹75 per month, offering 50GB of cloud storage, Private Relay, and Hide My Email features.
