India 9th cost-effective market for monthly Netflix subscriptions: Survey

India featured at the ninth spot in the list of "least expensive countries" for availing a monthly Netflix subscription. Interestingly, Pakistan tops the list and was the "least expensive country" around the globe to get Netflix as of October 2023, with a monthly subscription for the standard plan costing $ 2.90. Followed by Egypt and Nigeria, with monthly prices for a Netflix subscription amounting to $ 3.88 and $ 4.65 respectively. This was stated by in a  survey conducted recently.

The data published on Statista, also showed that Bolivia, Paraguay and Venezuela's monthly subscription for the standard plan amounted to $ 5.99, and were ranked 6th, 7th and 8th respectively, on the list. Morocco was ranked number ten on the list with a monthly subscription of $ 6.33.

In this digital era, where everything is just a click away, subscribers now prefer watching content online via multiple OTT platforms, than watching the content offered by broadcasting or local channels. Netflix is one of the top OTT platforms, not just in India but across globe. The platform offers its viewers with a wide variety of movies, TV shows and web series of different genres.
