Spotify launches its 'daylist' playlist feature globally: How to use it

Spotify's daylist playlist feature goes global: Spotify has some good news for music lovers across the globe. The music streaming giant today announced that it is rolling out its 'daylist' playlist to all its users globally.

For the unversed, Spotify launched its daylist playlist in September last year. It's a dynamic playlist that updates throughout the course of the day based on an individual's listening habits. At the time of the launch last year, the daylist feature was available in six countries only. Then later this year, Spotify expanded this feature to 65 more countries across the globe. And today the company announced that the daylist feature is available to all Spotify users, including the free and Premium users, globally.

"In fact, 70% of daylist users tune in week after week, millions of listeners stream it every day, and it has emerged as one of the most popular Spotify features that drives discovery," Spotify wrote in a blog post.

In addition to rolling out the daylist playlist feature globally, the music-streaming giant also announced that the daylist playlist will be available in 14 new languages. The list includes Arabic, Catalan, French (Canada), French (France), German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), and Turkish.

“With this expansion, many users will now be able to see our unique daylist titles in their native languages,” Spotify added.

How to find daylist playlist on Spotify?

Spotify users can search 'daylist' in the app to bring up your playlist. They can also find the daylist playlist in the app's Made For You hub.

How to save a daylist playlist?

Step 1: Open Spotify on your smartphone.
Step 2: Open the daylist playlist of your choice.
Step 3: Tap the three-dot menu on the playlist page.
Step 4: Select the 'Add to other playlist' option.
Step 5: Now tap 'New playlist' to save that exact daylist to Your Library.
