Dixon Technologies' subsidiary, Padet Electronics, is set to start the production of Xiaomi smartphones at its newly inaugurated Noida facility. The inauguration ceremony, officiated by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday, marked a significant development for electronic manufacturing services in the region.

Padet Electronics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dixon, invested Rs 256 crore in establishing the state-of-the-art factory, boasting an impressive annual production capacity of 2.5 crore units. Dixon Technologies' Executive Chairman, Sunil Vachani, expressed the importance of this collaboration, emphasizing the mutual benefits derived from Dixon's manufacturing excellence and Xiaomi's leadership in the Indian business ecosystem.
