Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold now available for purchase in India: Check price, top features

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold India sale: Google recently launched its Pixel 9 series smartphones in India. The Pixel 9 series includes the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which is the company's second foldable phone. Now, almost a month after the official launch, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is up for grabs in India.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes in a single variant in India with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space and it costs Rs 1,72,999. Interested buyers can purchase the device from Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Croma in Obsidian (Black) colour variant.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold features and specifications

Let's talk about the design first. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold features an aluminum alloy chassis and a glass back. The back of the phone is made of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and it comes with IPX8 water resistant coating. It has a multi-alloy steel hinge with an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy cover.

Coming to the display, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold sports an 8-inch OLED internal display with a screen resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels, a peak brightness of up to 2,700 pixels and a screen fresh rate of up to 120Hz. The internal display also supports 16 million colours. On the outside, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold features a 6.3-inch OLED display with Corning Gorilla Gass Victus 2 protection, a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, peak brightness of 2700 nits and a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor that is coupled with the company's Titan M2 security co-processor, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. It runs Google's Android 14 operating system and Google has promised to provide seven years of operating system and security updates to the buyers. It is backed by a 4,650mAh battery with support for 45 W USB-C fast charger and wireless charging technology.

On the camera front, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 10MP dual PD camera on the front. At the back it has triple rear camera setup which includes 48MP wide-angle lens, a 10.5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with macro focus and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Google's newly launched foldable phone also has a 10MP camera on the inside.

Lastly, for connectivity the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth version 5.3, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, NaVIC and 5G.
