HP Victus Special Edition launched with NVIDIA GPUs, start at Rs 65,999
The new Victus Special Edition series from HP focuses on gamers and creators, who would require high-performing GPUs.
HP Victus Special Edition is the company’s new series of gaming-focused laptops, featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs that the company says will offer high performance when running AAA titles. The new series of laptops also targets students who are looking for efficient laptops that can handle graphics-intensive projects. HP said it is offering free access to its HP Gaming Garage and online professional certificate programme to buyers of a Victus Special Edition laptop.
HP Victus Special Edition price in India
The Victus Special Edition series of laptops start at Rs 65,999. Different SKUs come with different prices, along with customisations in specifications. The colour variant, however, is just one: an Atmospheric Blue option that has a matte finish on the entire body. The laptop is available to buy from HP’s online and offline stores, as well as shopping websites and third-party electronics stores.
HP is throwing in a discount deal for Victus Special Edition buyers when they go for the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 headset, which will be available for Rs 499 instead of its actual cost of Rs 6,097.
HP Victus Special Edition specifications
The new series from HP focuses on gamers and creators, who would require high-performing GPUs. It, however, essentially, is a variant of the HP Victus 16, launched in India previously. The laptops come with a 15.6-inch full-HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the laptops are 12th Gen Intel Core processors, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The storage models, however, are not specified yet.
The laptops use NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A GPUs with 4GB of virtual RAM. HP says the dedicated GPUs in these laptops will offer ray tracing capabilities on laptops while playing AAA titles. They will also help the main processors process artificial intelligence (AI) features and run on-device AI models. Keeping the lights on is a 70Whr battery, which adds to the laptop’s weight of 2.29kg. The Victus Special Edition uses a full-sized backlit keyboard, as well.
