Infinix launches Zero Flip, its first flip phone to take on Galaxy Z Flip 6

Infinix Zero Flip has arrived as the company’s first flip smartphone. It looks very similar to the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 and undercuts Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6, which arrived earlier this year. In addition to the design, the specifications of the Infinix Zero Flip are the same as those of Tecno’s flip phone. The Zero Flip has a big outer screen and a long main screen in a design that resembles that of the Motorola Razr 50.

Infinix Zero Flip price in India

The new Infinix Zero Flip has arrived in Nigeria for NGN 1,065,000 (approximately Rs 53,470) in Rock Black and Blossom Glow colours. While the new flip phone will be initially available in Nigeria, the company is expected to launch it in more markets, including India.

Infinix Zero Flip specifications

The new Zero Flip boasts a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits – much like the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2. Its cover screen measures 3.64 inches and uses an AMOLED panel with a 1056x1066-pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has Android 14-based XOS 14.5 custom skin on top. Infinix says it will offer up to two major Android OS upgrades to the phone, while security updates will last up to three years.

On its back, the Infinix Zero Flip has vertically-stacked cameras, including a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The smartphone features a 50MP selfie camera inside the punch-hole on the main display. Infinix is offering integration with GoPro cameras where the Zero Flip’s cover screen will double as a viewfinder. The Infinix Zero Flip has a 4720mAh battery that charges up to 70W speed.
