Motorola Edge 50 Neo with waterproof body launched in India

Motorola Edge 50 Neo has debuted in India, adding to the company’s ‘edge’ series of smartphones that cost less than the top models, yet offer mid-range features. The new Edge 50 Neo has MIL-STD 810H certification for durability and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance – the same as the regular Motorola Edge 50. The company is also offering five years of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates on the Motorola Edge 50 Neo.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo price in India

The Edge 50 Neo has a single version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs 23,999. Its colourways include Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana, featuring a vegan leather finish. The first sale is on September 24 from Motorola’s online store and Flipkart. However, there will be a one-hour sale during Motorola’s live commerce event on September 16 at 7 PM on Flipkart. The launch offers include a Rs 1,000 bank discount, a Rs 1,000 exchange bonus, and benefits of up to Rs 10,000 from Reliance Jio. Customers also get no-cost EMI benefit from leading banks.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo packs a 6.4-inch full-HD+ P-OLED display with a 1200x2670-pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. The screen also has a fingerprint sensor and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The smartphone runs Android 14-based OS. Its rear cameras include a 50MP main Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide sensor. The phone has a 32MP selfie camera with 4K video recording. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo houses a 4310mAh battery with 68W fast wired and 15W wireless charging support.
