Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition India launch: Tecno today launched a special edition Tecno Spark 30C smartphone in India. The newly launched smartphone is dubbed as the Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition and it joins the league of other Transformers Edition smartphones the company announced in its global markets in August. For the unversed, Tecno had announced two Transformers Edition smartphones earlier this year -- the Tecno Spark 30 Pro Optimus Prime Edition and the Tecno Spark 30 Bumblebee Edition.

In India, the Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition succeeds the Tecno Spark 20C, which was launched in India earlier this year at the starting price of Rs 7,999. It competes with the likes of the Tecno Pop 9 5G, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C 5G and the Realme Narzo 70x 5G.

The Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition comes in three colour variants in India, which includes Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky, and Aurora Cloud. Coming to the features and specifications, the Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition comes with a 6.67-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, IP54 dust and water resistant technology and support for wet-touch technology. It is powered by MediaTek's D6300 5G system-on-chip that has been made using 6nm process. This chip is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space with support for virtual RAM. It runs Google's Android 14 mobile operating system and Tecno has promised to provide four years of software support to the users.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition sports a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 48MP primary lens with Sony's IMX582 sensor and an 8MP secondary camera. This rear camera setup is coupled with LED flash.

On the connectivity front, the Tecno Spark 30C Transformers Edition features support for 10 5G bands and all-directional NFC. It also has IR Blasters and support for Dolby Atmos for audio.
