Vivo V40e India launch date announced
While Vivo has not specified the processor of the V40e, it said customers can buy the smartphone in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colourways.
Vivo will launch the Vivo V40e in India later this week. The company has announced the launch date for the upcoming phone that will sit below the V40 in the series, which debuted earlier this year. While the company is keeping the full details of the smartphone under wraps until the launch, it has shared key information in the build-up.
According to the official teasers, the Vivo V40e will use a 6.77-inch curved display with a 1080p resolution. However, the company did not reveal if the display would use an LCD or an AMOLED panel. The rear cameras on the Vivo V40e will include a 50MP main Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Its front camera would pack a 50MP sensor, located inside a punch-hole design.
While Vivo has not specified the processor of the V40e, it said customers can buy the smartphone in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colourways. The teased photos show a large capsule-sized camera module on the back, which will also pack the company’s proprietary Aura Light LED, while the regular LED flash is located outside the island. It will also come with a 5500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging technology. Considering this will be a mid-range phone sitting below the V40, it will lack wireless charging.
The rest of the specifications are expected to be announced during the launch, scheduled for Wednesday, September 25. The launch event will be available to watch through a live stream on the company’s social media handles and YouTube.
