Vivo V40e launched with 50MP selfie camera, Dimensity 7300

Vivo has launched the V40e, its new mid-range smartphone that sits below the V40 but does not compromise on features significantly. The Vivo V40e uses a curved display with a punch-hole and has up to three years of major Android OS upgrades. The smartphone also packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and special heat-dissipation materials to reduce the device temperature by up to 7 degrees.

Vivo V40e price in India

The Vivo V40e has two variants: the one with 128GB of storage costs Rs 28,999 and the variant with 256GB of memory is priced at Rs 30,999. The smartphone will be available in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colours from Flipkart, Vivo’s online store, and partner offline stores from October 2. Its pre-orders are already live on eligible platforms. The launch offers include a 10 per cent instant discount on SBI and HDFC Bank cards, alongside a 10 per cent bonus on exchanges.

Vivo V40e specifications

The Vivo V40e boasts a 6.77-inch full-HD AMOLED display with HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM, but customers can expand it virtually by up to 8GB. The Vivo V40e runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. Its rear cameras include a 50MP main Sony IMX882 sensor with an F1.70 aperture and optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an F2.2 aperture. The Vivo V40e retains the Aura Light LED flash from other Vivo V40 series phones. The smartphone packs a 5500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging through the bundled charger. It has stereo speakers, as well. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and GPS, among other options.
