Infinix has launched its first foldable phone, the Zero Flip. Instead of a full-fledged foldable device, the Zero Flip is a flip smartphone, taking on the likes of the Motorola Razr 50 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. Its design is identical to that of Motorola’s flip phone, featuring a full cover screen interrupted by two cameras on the bottom. The smartphone’s specifications, however, are close to TECNO’s – its sister brand under Transsion Holdings – Phantom V Flip that was launched last year in India.

Infinix Zero Flip price in India

The new flip phone from Infinix costs Rs 54,999 for the single option with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. However, the company said customers can buy it for a special price of Rs 49,999 when the Infinix Zero Flip goes on sale on Flipkart starting October 28. It has Blossom Glow and Rock Black options. Customers can bring the price down further by Rs 5,000 using an SBI credit or debit card. The effective price of the smartphone after all discounts will be Rs 44,999.

Infinix Zero Flip specifications

The Zero Flip has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display on the inside, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Its cover display measures 3.64 inches and uses an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. The 512GB internal storage, however, is not expandable. The Zero Flip runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 custom skin and supports dual 5G SIM cards.

Its photography capabilities come from a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide sensor with a 114-degree field-of-view, available on the cover screen. The selfies are handled using a 50MP camera located inside the punch-hole on the inner display. The flip smartphone has Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC among other connectivity features.
