Sony launches PlayStation PULSE earbuds, headset in India

Sony has introduced new wireless earbuds and a wireless headset in India months after they were launched internationally. The new PlayStation PULSE Explore wireless earbuds and PULSE Elite headset are specifically tailored for PlayStation users. According to Sony, the new audio accessories are designed to provide an immersive gaming experience, utilising planar magnetic drivers and noise cancellation enhanced by artificial intelligence.

The PlayStation PULSE Explore wireless earbuds are priced at Rs 18,990, while the PULSE Elite wireless headset costs Rs 12,990. Both audio accessories are available from Sony Center, ShopAtSC, Amazon , Flipkart, Blinkit, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and other partner stores.

Sony PlayStation PULSE Explore, PULSE Elite specifications

The PULSE Explore earbuds use planar magnetic drivers for lifelike audio when playing most game titles. The design uses a sliding mechanism for the lid, which has the PlayStation logo. The earbuds support the PlayStation Link wireless connection to connect quickly to the PlayStation console. However, these earbuds will also work on any device with Bluetooth support. The PULSE Explore earbuds have two microphones that use AI to cancel out noise for better clarity when playing games. The earbuds offer up to five hours of battery life without the case and an extra 10 hours with the charging case.

Sony’s PULSE Elite wireless headset also uses the same planar magnetic drivers for an immersive audio experience and comes with support for PlayStation Link wireless connection for a lossless connection with PlayStation consoles. The headset has a battery runtime of up to 30 hours and supports quick charging. The headset also has a retractable microphone that uses AI-enhanced noise cancellation for a noise-free audio experience. The headset supports a USB-C for charging and the cable is a part of the retail box.
