Vivo Y300 5G launch in India next week: What to expect
Vivo has announced the launch date for the Y300 5G smartphone, which could be a rebranded V40 Lite that was launched in global markets in September.

Vivo will launch Y300 5G, the next Y-series smartphone in India next week on November 21. Ahead of the reveal, the official teasers for the phone have confirmed a design similar to that of the Vivo V40 Lite. The Y300 5G has a capsule-shaped camera island with two sensors and the company's signature Aura Light flash module. That means its specifications could also be identical to the V40 Lite, which was unveiled originally in select markets in September.

Vivo's press images for the Y300 5G show at least three colourways, purple, grey, and green with a texture. Although their names are not official yet, Vivo could use the V40 Lite's colour names: Titanium Silver, Dynamic Black, and Emerald Green. The design also includes a punch-hole display with narrow bezels, power and volume buttons on the left edge, and a USB-C port at the bottom.
Specifications-wise, the Y300 5G could be similar to the V40 Lite. That means it could come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen may also have an in-display fingerprint sensor. It may be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone could come with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera on the back, while its front camera could use a 32MP sensor. The Vivo Y300 5G may have an IP64 rating for water- and dust-resistance, and it could even feature stereo speakers. The Vivo Y300 5G could also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, much like the Vivo V40 Lite.
While Vivo has not clarified, the online availability of the Vivo Y300 5G could begin on Flipkart and the company's online store. However, Vivo may also release the phone for the offline market.
