Move over emoticons WhatsApp stickers could be the next big thing on the messaging app. During Diwali, we saw a lot of users sending Diwali greetings over WhatsApp stickers, unlike more traditional methods such as text, pictures, videos and GIFs. Many instant messaging platforms offer stickers for example, WeChat, Telegram, Facebook’s own Messenger platform etc.
Folks over at WhatsApp are currently in the process of making stickers more widely accessible to the masses. WhatsApp stickers are not yet available for iOS users. But once they do, iPhone and iPad users can download third-party sticker packs and in some cases, make their own stickers as well.
