Facebook-owned photo and video-sharing app Instagram could be working on expanding its user base in India, according to screenshots shared by an app researcher Jane Manchun Wong. Screenshots indicate that Instagram would soon support the Hindi language. As a result, users can expect to see post captions, comments, setting menu and profile information in Hindi.
As per statistics found on statista.com, Instagram has 71 million users from India as of October 2018. India is ranked number 2 following the U.S. with 121 million users.
