The PUBG Update 5.2 is now on live servers. Maintenance activity is now complete. This means that you could now potentially check out the new update fully with all its enhancements.

Update 5.2 to PUBG

Now, the biggest USP of this new update is that it introduces the Spike traps that could be placed under tires of enemy vehicles. Once punctured, enemies could then be killed through live attacks. Hence, these assume the utmost significance. Then, users could get to experimentally test out newer features, through the PUBG Labs. Upon testing out completely, the pros and cons could then be reported directly to the technical folks behind the game.

These experimental enhancements include the likes of a Skill-based Rating for players, improvements to Vikendi (in-game aspects such as towns), Way Point feature to make players' in-game routes better through strategic planning. Then, there would also be the Auto Attachment feature that provides you weapons based on the attachments you pick up, along your way. These are the most important features in the new Update 5.2

At this juncture, this new Update 5,2 potentially does well to increment the older Update 5.1 that introduced the ability, for players, to use melee weapons and thereby launch attacks. In weakened states, enemies are more prone to being killed. Therefore, you could check out the new update now.

“The high-speed hijinks continue, but we’re giving players something that’ll cause the competition to see the red of their brake lights with the Spike Trap. Vikendi received a facelift to bring the sniper strategies that are most effective on the map into focus,” states PUBG in an official blog post.
