Special Ops Mode has made its second-coming official on Call of Duty: Mobile (aka Call of Duty Mobile). This mode was hugely popular and would be returning with the Modern Warfare iteration update on 25 October. In the Special Ops mode, players are required to form teams of four to further the storyline of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. These custom activities, with the 4 player teams, are called Operations.

The Special Ops, aka Special Operations game mode, also lets players resort to airstrikes. Other conventional vehicles include the likes of tanks, All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATVs) and helicopters. USP, here, is the fact that players are required to display their team-spirit skills. Revival of teammates also becomes a potential norm here.

“They may deploy more soldiers via helicopters or even bring in a Juggernaut or two to wipe out your Armistice fireteam,” states Activision, in an official blog post. Other new features, within the Special Ops update, include the likes of Cross-Progression rewards, special Missions, Cross-Mode Loadouts, and the temporary association between Allegiance and Coalition forces. Then, there are three types of special equipment called Killstreaks. Then, there is the custom Special Ops Survival mode that would remain exclusive content to Sony PlayStation (PS) gamers till 1 October 2020, post which it would be made available widely to other platforms.  For now, all major platforms viz Xbox One, PC, and PS4 would get the Call of Duty Special Ops mode.

In related news, the Call of Duty: Mobile (Call of Duty Mobile) should now be widely live for both Google Android as well as Apple iOS users across the world. In this mode, players would be battling it out with 100 other players. USP of this mobile update is its 5v5 team deathmatch mode. Other modes include the likes of Crash, Hijack, and Nuketown.
