Samsung has announced the Notebook 7 in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, and a Notebook 7 Force – both of which take uninhibited inspiration from Apple’s MacBook Pro in more ways than one. While the Notebook 7 has been launched at a price of $1,000, the Notebook 7 Force has been launched at a price of $1,500. While the Notebook 7 will be available from July 26, the Notebook 7 Force will be available later this year – in the US. There is no word when Samsung will launch the Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force in India, although going by history, chances of that happening are extremely slim.

The Notebook 7 is seemingly aimed directly against the MacBook Pro – it looks a lot like the MacBook Pro, but crams in a lot more ports within its slim all-metal chassis in comparison. That would be of course its main USP – there are two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port, HDMI, and a microSD card slot. So, no dongles needed with this one – unless you want more.

Available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, the Notebook 7 comes with a 1080p display and slim bezels – with diamond cut edges that accentuate the laptop’s look and feel. Intel’s eighth-generation core processors, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD are standard although the 15-inch model gives you more flexibility when it comes to storage and graphics – there will be an option for additional SSD slot, and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics on the 15-inch model. The standard 13-inch Notebook 7 packs Intel’s UHD graphics.

The Notebook 7 Force is seemingly designed for content creators – that, in addition to the fact that, it comes only in black. The Notebook 7 Force has a 15-inch 1080p display and eighth-generation Intel Core processors paired with 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD – this one packs two additional storage slots (1 HDD/ 1 SSD) and bumped up Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics.

The Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force come with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and fingerprint scanners for Windows Hello.
