4GB OppoA3s Affordable Smartphone Reportedly Made Official In India

The Oppo A3s – which is an affordable mid-range smartphone launched in 2018 comes in 2GB and 3GB variants with a starting price tag of Rs 9000. Now, it seems that a 4GB variant of the handset also seems to have hit shelves of physical retail stores in India.  

Now, as per a 91Mobiles report, the 4GB RAM edition reportedly comes with 64GB of internal storage. Here, it is worth noting that till now, the 2GB and 3GB RAM variants of the Oppo A3s come with 16GB as well as 32GB internal storage. 91Mobiles also states that the 4GB Oppo A3s should now be available to purchase across physical retail stores.  

At this point in time, USP of the Oppo A3s is its 6.2-inch display which can be unlocked through your face (face recognition), and the 4230mAh battery that offers practically significant backup time. Camera-wise, the Oppo A3s offers a 13MP _ 8MP dual rear cameras, along with a single 8MP front camera. The smartphone is LTE-enabled which means that Reliance Jio’s Jio SIM cards should work well. The dual SIM-card slots are dual 4G-enabled which means that both these slots are compatible with 4G SIM cards.  

The other key hardware aspects of the Oppo A3s 4GB RAM edition are reportedly identical to that of the current-gen 2GB and 3GB RAM editions. Price-wise, a 3GB RAM edition costs Rs 9900 to buy (physical retail store price, could be variable across different stores). A4GB RAM Oppo A3s should cost at least Rs 11000.  

As of now, we checked with a brick-and-mortar retail store in Bangalore and the 4GB RAM edition of the Oppo A3s was yet to be made available. Do check at your nearest retail stores and let us know.
