OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 7T with what could be a segment first 90Hz display in India on September 26. Days ahead of launch, OnePlus has also revealed key design elements of the OnePlus 7T confirming two key aspects of the phone in question. For one, the OnePlus 7T will boast of a frosted matte glass finish on the back - like the OnePlus 7 Pro. Even the color scheme - which is blue - would remind you of OnePlus’ current-generation Nebula Blue flavor. Secondly, the OnePlus 7T will come with a triple camera setup arranged inside a circular bump.

OnePlus 7T confirmed specs

Clearly, the OnePlus 7T looks all set to be a big upgrade over the OnePlus 6T and even the OnePlus 7. The OnePlus 7, although it was a fantastic phone for its price, wasn’t all that different from the OnePlus 6T. Even as the OnePlus 7 Pro was something else entirely - being the company’s first Pro model, OnePlus seemingly put all its engineering might behind it.

One of the key USPs of the OnePlus 7 Pro, launched alongside the OnePlus 7 earlier in the year, was its 90Hz 2K AMOLED screen. The OnePlus 7 meanwhile had to make do with a 1080p+ AMOLED with the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 7T is going to change that. Chances are, this would make the OnePlus 7T, a first of its kind phone at its price point – although, with the addition, chances are we may see pricing go up too, in comparison to the OnePlus 7.

OnePlus 7T rumored specs and features

Rumored specs of the OnePlus 7T also hint at a return to form for OnePlus’ “affordable” value flagship. According to reports, the OnePlus 7T is set to get a 6.55-inch 1080p+ AMOLED display. It is said to come with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Battery capacity is said to get a slight boost too with the OnePlus 7T getting a 3,800mAh pack. On to the cameras, the OnePlus 7T is said to come with three rear cameras – a 48MP main, a 12MP telephoto for 2x zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the OnePlus 7T is said to come with a 16MP camera.
