Samsung Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s get up to Rs 3,000 price cut in India

Samsung has slashed the price of the Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s phones in India by up to Rs 3,000. While the Galaxy A50s will now start at Rs 19,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will now cost Rs 21,999 – that's a Rs 3,000 price cut. The Galaxy A30s will meanwhile sell at a reduced price of Rs 15,999 – that's a Rs 1,000 price cut. 

To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy A50s in India in September at a starting price of Rs 22,999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage going all the way to Rs 24,999 for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Galaxy A30s was launched alongside, at a price of Rs 16,999 (4GB/64GB).

The Galaxy A50s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch and 1080p+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 9611 processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. 

On to the optics, the Galaxy A50s has a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A50s comes with a 32MP camera. 

The Galaxy A30s meanwhile comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-V notch and 720p+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7904 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing with 15W fast charging through USB Type-C - same as the Galaxy A50s.  

The Galaxy A30s further comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 25MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a dedicated 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A30s has a 16MP camera.
