  • Patani might have made a major faux-pas on Instagram while posting teaser on her Instagram for the first time

Bollywood actress Disha Patani has teased the launch of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy M series on her Instagram. As we know, South Korean giant Samsung is all set to take the wraps off their upcoming new Galaxy M-series smartphones in India next week. Samsung is hosting their media event on January 28 in New Delhi where they will announce at least two Galaxy M-series phones: Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20.

A 26-year-old Disha Patani is known for her role in sports biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story and many others. In a promotional post on Instagram, this is what Patani had to say:

I’M SO KICKED. Thanks to the Ultra Wide Camera in Samsung Galaxy M Series, I can go as wide with my yoga poses as I want and take the complete picture. Want to know more? Go to @samsungindia and click on the link in their bio to get notified. Launch announcement on the 28th Jan on Amazon at 6PM. Stay tuned. #IMPOWERD

In her video, Patani receives a phone in an M-shaped box, which is unlikely to be the actual retail package when Samsung starts shipping the handset to their customers. She further demonstrated the phone's ultra-wide angle camera.

However, Patani might have made a major faux-pas on Instagram while uploading the Samsung Galaxy M-series teaser on her Instagram for the first time. Reports claim Patani initially copy-pasted something in the caption that appears to be a message from marketing folks over at Samsung. The old video is apparently deleted from her profile.

However, this isn't the first time Samsung has roped in a Bollywood star to promote their launch. Back in 2013, the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch party was internationally slammed for featuring a 'Gangnam Style' remake performed by a Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.
