Apple Scary Fast Halloween Event: Cupertino-tech giant Apple Inc is all set for a product launch at an Apple event which it named "Scary Fast" on October 31, 5:30 am IST (October 30, 5 pm PT). The event name “Scary Fast” coincides with Halloween 2023. Even though Apple hasn't shared specific details regarding the event, it is widely anticipated that a new line up of iMac will be announced.

Apple sources have refused to comment on the details of the event. The virtual event can be live-streamed at apple.com or on the Apple TV app.
Even though Apple has made October launches before, this timing should be noted as the company is set to announce its quarterly earnings on November 3, 2:30 am IST (November 2, 2 pm PT)
One reason why an iMac is expected during this event is that iPhone and Apple Watch updates are already in the books for this year. In January, Apple released MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max silicon. Hence, it's expected that Apple will release an update for 13-inch MacBook Pro which last saw an update in 2022 when it adopted the M2 chipset.

The current iMac is powered by an M1 chipset, therefore, upgraded silicon seems to be the most likely change to a new model. Even though Apple iPads are awaiting updates, industry experts are not expecting any iPad updates during the October Apple Event.
Apple just held its last “Wonderlust” event in September, when it revealed the new iPhone 15 lineup, updates to the Apple Watch, and AirPods Pro with a USB-C charging case. The company also showed off a cheaper USB-C-compatible version of the Apple Pencil last week.
