Redmi prepares to release Redmi K70 series with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipsets

Redmi is gearing up for the launch of its Redmi K70 and K70 Pro smartphones. Redmi K60 series is expected to come equipped with powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets. While Redmi has already announced that the K70 series will be the ‘2024 flagship,’ the devices are speculated to debut in December in China, with availability for purchase likely in January, despite their official launch in December.
The certification process has also shed light on their charging capabilities. The standard Redmi K70 is set to support 90W fast charging, while the Pro model will offer an even more impressive 120W charging solution. Notably, wireless charging, a feature in their predecessors, is expected to be absent in the K70 duo, based on recent reports.

In addition to the Chinese market, it is rumoured that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will make their way to the global stage. Outside of China, these devices are said to be rebranded as the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. According to reports, production of the Poco F6 series has already commenced in several European and Eurasian regions, hinting at a global debut in the first quarter of 2024.
