Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of the Redmi 13C. While the exact release date has not been disclosed, Redmi has teased the smartphone's design and colour options through multiple teaser images on social media. The Redmi 13C will be available in at least four different finishes.
The device features a centrally positioned waterdrop-style notch for the front-facing camera. This new model is expected to succeed the Redmi 12C, which was introduced in India in March of the current year.

The Redmi 13C is anticipated to run on Android 13-based MIUI 14.0.1 and feature a 6.74-inch IPS display with full-HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The device may include a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.

As a successor to the Redmi 12C, which was priced at Rs. 8,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Rs. 10,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant upon its India debut, the Redmi 13C is expected to offer updated features and improvements.
