Wayanad wildlife sanctuary: This sanctuary spans the protected forest areas of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, boasting rich biodiversity. It features South Indian moist deciduous forests, West Coast semi-evergreen forests, and teak and eucalyptus trees. Wildlife such as tigers, panthers, langurs, bonnet macaques, bison, sambars, monkeys, Malabar squirrels, bears, and monitor lizards can be found here.
