Michael Douglas on his career-defining Oscar wins

Being an unshakeable name in the contemporary cinematic landscape has not come without its own fair share of trials and tribulations for Michael Douglas. The veteran Hollywood actor opens up about the professional milestones which turned out to be career-defining moments for him. The first in this regard was the Oscar he lifted at the Academy Awards in 1976 for his 1975 psychological drama film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Ratification as an actor came over a decade later as Douglas was honoured with the Oscar for Best Actor at Academy Awards in 1988 for his performance as Gordon Gekko in 1987 American drama film, Wall Street, written and directed by Oliver Stone and produced by Edward R Pressman.
