Allahabad HC Bar President Opposes Justice Varma's Transfer, Says "No Court is a Dumping Ground

The Allahabad HC Bar Association has voiced strong opposition to the Supreme Court's decision to transfer Justice Yashwant Varma from the Delhi High Court to the Allahabad High Court. This comes after a significant amount of cash was reportedly found at his official residence following a fire incident on March 14. After a general house meeting in Prayagraj on Monday, Bar President Anil Tiwari criticised the move and called for further action. "We have passed 11 proposals. First, we will not tolerate his (Justice Yashwant Varma) transfer here under any circumstances; it did not happen today, nor should it happen in the future," he stated firmly.
