Himanta Biswa Blames Congress For Instigating People For Violence In Sonapur Eviction Drive In Assam

The ongoing eviction drive in Sonapur has turned violent leading to multiple arrests and heightened tension in the region. On Thursday, confrontations between squatters and police forces resulted in the deaths of two individuals. In the wake of the violence, the Assam police have made significant moves, arresting five individuals and detaining six persons linked to the attacks on law enforcement and administrative personnel. Those arrested identified as Mohir Ali, Ainal Haque, Khabar Ali, Aminul Ali, Sadekul Islam and Moinuddin Ali.
