West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s speech at Kellogg College, University of Oxford, took an unexpected turn when protesters confronted her mid-address. As she spoke about investments in West Bengal, one protester interrupted, saying, "Tata ran away from your state." The disruptions continued with sharp questions about RG Kar Medical College and a pointed remark, "What did you do for Hindus?"
Mamata responded by urging the protesters not to politicize the event and accused them of spreading false claims. Despite the interruptions and heated exchanges, she managed to complete her keynote address and later took part in a fireside chat.
