Meet Rajasthan's new Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa

After BJP's surprise in Chhattisgarh & Madhya Pradesh, BJP finally revealed their CM face for Rajasthan. Bhajan Lal Sharma is the new CM and Diya Kumari & Prem Chand Bairwa will serve as the Deputy CM of the state. Prem Chand Bairwa started his political career from ABVP. He also worked as the District President of SC Morcha in Jaipur. Bairwa, who was born in 1974, holds a PhD from the University of Rajasthan. Prem Chand Bairwa won from Dudu assembly constituency in 2023 where he defeated Congress' Babu Lal Nagar by a margin of 35743 votes. In 2013, Hazari Lal Nagar, the Congress candidate, lost to Prem Chand Bairwa in the Dudu constituency by a margin of 33,720 votes. By a margin of 14,779 votes, Congress candidate Babu Lal Nagar defeated him in 2018. The decision came after BJP's party meet on Dec 12.
