Indian Grand Master and chess legend Vishwanathan Anand lost in the quarterfinals Of WR Chess Masters 2024 to his mentee R Pragganandhaa. Vishwanathan Anand started mentoring Pragganandhaa back in 2018 and six years later, Praggandhaa defeated his master. R Pragganandhaa advanced to the semi-finals but lost to Indian counterpart Arjun Erigaisi in the semis. Erigaisi will now contest in the finals on Thursday.
