How Paralympics 2024 Gold Medallist Navdeep Singh's Family Helped Him Rise Above Height Trolling

Javelin thrower Navdeep Singh won India's 7th gold medal at the recently-concluded Paralympics 2024. However, his journey from struggling with dwarfism from a young age to winning gold at the Paris Games was one that required considerable mental strength as he was the subject of a lot of taunting and bullying from others in society. In this interview with the Republic Sport Fit podcast, he talks about his family gave him strength to overcome the bullies and also gave him the confidence that he would go on to achieve big things. He said that his family is his backbone and that without them he would not have been able to achieve whatever it is that he has so far in his career as a para-athlete.
