Bengaluru: Woman Driver Harassed by Drunk Man Near Marathahalli Bridge, Police in Action

Bengaluru: A young woman was driving home from work late on evening when she stopped near the Marathahalli bridge service road. As she was about to turn, she noticed a man standing nearby. He approached her car, and she immediately felt uneasy. When she realised she was alone, her fear intensified.

The man attempted to open all four doors of her car, but they were fortunately locked. Undeterred, he moved to her right side and began trying to break the window. Panicked, she started recording the incident on her phone.

Recognising the immediate danger, the woman quickly started her car and drove away as fast as possible. She was shaken but unharmed.

The video of a man harassing this woman is now circulating on social media, with netizens being furious. Bengaluru City Police has also responded on viral video, saying, ‘We have attended to this issue as per law.' Bengaluru police further tweeted, saying, ‘We have informed concerned police officers for necessary action.’

One more user says, ‘Hope there are cameras and they will track from where this person came. Happening within city limits that too Marathalli vehicles, people are moving around.’

Recently, a woman in Bengaluru was harassed and allegedly slapped by an Ola auto driver after she cancelled her ride. A video of the physical abuse, which went viral on social media, shows the auto driver and the woman arguing, during which he tries to snatch her phone.
