California (US): In a dramatic escape, a man who was playing golf thanked his stars as the plane that had crashed at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, California narrowly missed him.

According to the video that has gone viral on social media platforms, the plane had to make an emergency crash landing. The aircraft which was a single-engine Piper PA-28 plane experienced engine failure shortly after takeoff from McClellan Airfield, forcing the pilot to look for a safe place to land.

Pilot opted to Crash Plane in Golf Course

In the video, it can be seen that the plane skidded across the practice green, narrowly missing a golfer, before coming to rest against the pro shop. The pilot suffered minor injuries, with only a cut on his hand, and was able to walk away from the incident. No one on the ground was injured.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said that they are investigating the crash.
