Viral Video: A disturbing video has gone Viral showing a doctor and her children purportedly assaulting her aged in-laws over a marital dispute.

The incident took place at Victoria Government Hospital on March 10 at around 8:15 PM in Bengaluru, and it has sparked outrage online, with netizens demanding stern action against her.

Dr. Priyadarshini had reportedly been harassing her in-laws for over ten years, forcing them to leave their own home and live in a rented house. Despite a court order saying she was not allowed to visit them, she allegedly broke into their home with her two children and assaulted them.

In the shocking video, her 80-year-old father-in-law, who suffers from heart problems, is seen being kicked and stamped on. Her mother-in-law, a cancer survivor, is dragged by her Mangal sutra for several minutes.

This horrible act has led to an FIR being filed at Annapurneshwarinagar Police Station (Case No. 0094/2025).

Her father-in-law J Narasimaiah, a resident of RHCS Layout in west Bengaluru, filled the case against her. According to him, his son Naveen Kumar, also a doctor, married Priyadarshini in 2007, but they applied for a divorce. She visited Narasimaiah's home around 8:30pm on March 10 along with her daughter and son. She abused him, his wife, and Naveen and allegedly issued death threats. She manhandled them and assaulted Narasimaiah on his head and back. He requested police to take action against her.

A senior officer said a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), 126 (wrongful restraint), 351 (criminal intimidation), and 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace).

The authorities have called Dr. Priyadarshini for questioning and are investigating the matter further.

The case has caused many people on social media to talk about domestic violence and elder abuse, reminding everyone that anyone, regardless of age, can be a victim of abuse.
