In an unexpected turn of events, the Supreme Court of India recently became the stage for a cheeky monkey heist when a couple of monkeys ventured into the court's corridors and made off with a bag.

Senior Supreme Court advocate Sanjay Hegde shared a video capturing the playful intruders as they leapt into a crowded corridor. One monkey was seen jumping onto a small shelf next to a courtroom door, where it snatched a tote bag before swiftly returning to a parapet.

Amid the chaos, a group of amused lawyers looked on as one of the monkeys rummaged through the bag. The clever primate pulled out a lunch box and tossed the bag aside from the parapet, much to the delight of the onlookers.
