Pakistani Airline Pilot Cleans Windscreen of Aircraft, Video Goes Viral

New Delhi: A pilot of a Pakistan airline was seen cleaning the windscreen of his aircraft just before takeoff. According to the video which has surfaced, the pilot of serene airline could be seen coming out of the plane's side window to clear the view ahead.

As per reports it has been said that the incident happened on Airbus A330-200, operating an international flight between Pakistan and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 

The video has sparked reactions about airline safety protocols and many on the social media platforms were mocking Pakistan on their financial situation.

A user on the X wrote, "Plot tiwst once he was a cab driver." while another prayed for the safety of passengers. 

PIA Heading for Privatisation 

Meanwhile Pakistan International Airlines has reported massive losses for the past two years. Several previous governments attempted to sell PIA but had to abandon the plan due to its political repercussions, as opposition parties opposed it to garner support from the airline's thousands of employees.

It was thought that the caretaker government would be able to tackle the difficult task without fear of political fallout. However, the process took too long to streamline, and just as they were ready to proceed, the Election Commission of Pakistan intervened.
