In a move that has raised eyebrows and ignited discussions across social media, a Pakistani woman revealed in a now-viral video that her father installed a security camera on her head to ensure her safety.

During an interview, the woman explained the unusual decision taken by her father to keep a constant watch on her. The camera, which provides 24/7 monitoring, is accessed by her father, allowing him to keep track of her whereabouts and actions at all times.

When asked if she opposed the idea, the woman responded quickly, saying she fully supported whatever her "Walid sahab" (father) decided. “I agreed to whatever my father thinks is best for me,” she stated, signaling her acceptance of the unusual safety measure.

The woman cited the notorious Karachi hit-and-run case as an example of the dangers women face on the streets. She referred to the tragic incident in which a father and daughter lost their lives after being struck by an SUV driven by the wife of a wealthy industrialist.

The Karachi Hit-and-Run Tragedy

“At least three people were killed after the wife of a Karachi-based industrialist rammed into bikers and pedestrians while driving her swanky SUV on Karsaz Road in Karachi on Monday.”

Pakistani media outlets have confirmed that the woman behind the wheel was Natasha Iqbal, wife of industrialist Danish Iqbal, who is also the chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited. The accident occurred when Natasha's speeding SUV lost control, crashing into a motorcycle, several vehicles, and pedestrians before ultimately plummeting onto a service road.

Latest Developments in the Case

In a surprising turn of events, the victims' heirs recently pardoned Natasha Iqbal for her actions, stating they have no objections to her being granted bail. This decision, according to Pakistani media, came after compensation was agreed upon, including a job for a member of the victim’s family within Danish Iqbal’s company. The victims' families emphasized that they believed the accident was unintentional, leading to their decision to forgive her.
