A video released by Pinellas County Government on Saturday shows a Tesla that caught fire inside a flooded garage. This incident has prompted officials to warn that electric vehicles exposed to saltwater can pose a fire hazard.
"If your electric vehicle or golf cart was left in a garage or under a building during the hurricane and has been affected by flooding, please notify us immediately," the county stated in a social media post.
