A Thailand-based company has come up with a creative idea to boost employee productivity: paid "Tinder Leave"!
This initiative, introduced by the marketing agency Whiteline Group at the beginning of July and running through the end of the year, aims to improve employee well-being and increase productivity.
The company has not specified the exact number of days for this leave but has confirmed that it will cover the cost of higher-tier Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum subscriptions for all employees.
"Our employees can use Tinder Leave to go on dates," the company announced in a LinkedIn post.
The management introduced this idea after overhearing an employee mention she was too busy to go out on a date. In response, the company now allows staff to take time off—both days and evenings—to go on dates. Employees need only give a week's notice before taking their "Tinder Leave."
Additionally, Whiteline Group is providing six months of paid Tinder Platinum and Tinder Gold subscriptions to employees. These premium subscriptions offer features such as matching with people from around the world and sending a note with every Super Like.
This offer is available to employees who have completed their probation periods and who join between July 9 and December 31 of this year.
Facilities like these are intended to enhance employee creativity and productivity, ultimately leading to better results.
