Viral Video: Fatehpur DM Pays Suprise Visit; Slaps Man for Colliding with Her

Fatehpur: A viral video circulating online shows a female District Magistrate from Fatehpur slapping a young man. The incident reportedly occurred during a surprise inspection at the DUDA and Sub-Registrar office in Fatehpur District. The District Magistrate, identified as Indumati, was conducting a surprise visit along with other officials, including ADM Administration Avnish Tripathi, ADM Finance Vinay Pathak, and SDM Sadar.

As news of the DM's visit spread, employees began to scramble, leading to chaos. In the commotion, a man accidentally collided with the DM, which agitated her and prompted her to slap him. In the video, the DM can be heard saying, "I am standing here... can't you see a woman is standing, and you are pushing her and going ahead?"

The surprise inspection was conducted on Monday in response to complaints of corruption at the Sub-Registrar Office and District Urban Development Agency Office (DUDA) in Fatehpur. The unexpected visit led to disorder in the office, with workers and outsiders rushing to leave.

The District Magistrate (DM) made an unscheduled visit to the office in response to a complaint. During her inspection, she examined old documents in the 'Malkhana' of the Sub-Registrar Office. However, she was alarmed to find suspicious individuals present on the premises, whom she confronted.

Additionally, some individuals were apprehended and handed over to the police for further questioning. The DM also reprimanded the Sub-Registrar for the poor condition of the premises, citing the presence of dirt and unauthorized outsiders.
