Going to the office and then coming back home becomes boring after a while, but this is not the case when you are traveling by Mumbai local train. The passengers last week did a jamming session where they hit the notes of Sonu Nigam’s 1997 hit song ‘Yeh Dil Deewana.” The sync of the performers with one guy playing drums with compartment’s body was so good that it pulled a response from Sonu Nigam itself.
An Instagram user, Aayush, shared the video on his Telegram account where the passengers were singing the song. Moreover, this random jamming session also garnered over 98 lakh views with 9.34 lakh likes, and users in the comment section find it “wholesome.”
Aayush shared the video with a caption that reads, “Art finds its place everywhere.”
A social media user said, “Things that happen only in Mumbai,” whereas another one said, “This is how fast men become friends.”
The user also puts a text on the video that says, “Trust me when I make a film, this will be the opening sequence.”
Soon after the video went viral, the original singer of the song, Sonu Nigam, replied and said, “How beautiful… Gives me such happiness. God bless everyone.”
People in the comment section went gaga over the video.
One user wrote, “Men will do this and then go home and tell their family "aaj toh kuch khas nahi hua.”
Another user said, “Men do express- they just need the right environment.”
“Imagine a film starting with the protagonist in this crowd getting irritated by the song.. but by the end he is one of them tapping his hands along with the song..”
“The uncle at the back in the red cap was holding it for too long, and then he finally expressed.”
