Viral Video: Omelettes, while a convenient and protein-rich breakfast choice, also offer different types of recipes. Food bloggers, especially, experiment with new and exciting flavour combinations. From chocolate omelettes to chow mein omelettes to cola omelettes, the list of unusual omelette varieties is endless. The recent viral video of a Mirinda Omelette, a viral recipe featuring a popular orange drink and biscuits, is all over social media.
Food vlogger @_.foodie_insaan shared the video of Mirinda omelette on Instagram. In the viral video, the vendor breaks two eggs into a steel glass and tops it with salt, green chilies, and chopped onions. After beating the eggs for a couple of seconds, the vendor heats a pan. Next, he adds Mirinda to the pan along with crushed orange biscuits. The vendor cooks the ingredients for a couple of minutes before adding the beaten eggs to them. The twist comes again as he adds oil and some more mirinda on top of it.
As the omelette begins to take shape, the vendor adds four pavs and coats them well with the mixture. After flipping it upside down, he adds biscuits and chopped onions to it. Once it gets transferred to the plate, the vendor tops the Mirinda pav omelette with ketchup.
Despite Mirinda being a popular drink enjoyed with all sorts of snacks, this Mirinda pav omelette food combination was disliked by internet users.
One user commented, “It looked like breakfast, lunch, and supper in one meal.”
“It looks a little bit scary,” wrote a second user. Another user wrote, “Omelette or diarrhoea." A fourth user said, “I'll never try it; that's a thousand percent sure.”
