Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the Vantara animal rescue centre, where he spent time with rescued lions, tigers, and other animals

At the center, the PM fed an alpaca. Additionally, Vantara strives to empower local communities by offering them training in humane animal care techniques and sustainable livelihoods.

PM Modi met two incredible survivors: a lioness rescued after a vehicle accident, receiving top-notch care for her spinal injuries, and a leopard cub abandoned by her family.

PM Modi took the opportunity to connect with the dedicated team of over 2,100 staff members who tirelessly care for the animals at the Vantara centre.
