Drone footage of flood devastation in Sarajevo

Parts of Bosnian capital of Sarajevo was submerged in floodwater on Saturday after heavy rain. Dozens of factories and warehouses in an industrial area were submerged after the suburbs of Sarajevo were hit with a second day of heavy flooding.The floods brought more havoc on local residents, despite water levels shrinking. 

The Rivers of Zeljeznica and Tilava in southern part of the capital burst their banks and flooded hundreds of homes in the area.Civil protection teams and local residents struggled to put up sand bag barriers to prevent a further spread of the flooding.On Friday, heavy rain caused severe flash flooding, prompting evacuations and causing power outages in most of the capital.A key facility for oxygen used for COVID-19 patients was also forced to close and roads were submerged in some parts of the Balkan country.
