Ferrari restarts production after seven weeks

After a seven-week disruption in production, the longest in its history, luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari relaunched production on Monday.

Production will fully resume on May 8 with a program called 'back on track' which allows its workers to return with measures in place to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company also reported developing its own contact tracing system, so staff can determine if they have been in contact with anyone who tested positive.
