Freak tornado cause damage in Sweden

An unexpected tornado has injured one person and caused material damage in the town of Grums in central Sweden.

The incident happened around 1:30 pm local time during a thunderstorm on Saturday.

Video footage showed roofing and debris flying through the air, and a shed destroyed and carried a hundred meters along the road.

Vehicles and other property were also damaged.

Local authorities said they had never seen such a violent weather incident before.
