Osama's Son Hamza bin Laden Is Reviving Al-Qaeda And Has Sinister Terror Plans

New Delhi: Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden, is alive and is heading the terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda with sinister plans. Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind attack at US World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001, was killed by US Navy SEALs in May 2011. Now a report has claimed that Hamza bin Laden, who was believed to be killed in 2019 by the Central Investigation Agency (CIA), is still alive as he survived the attack.

Not only Hamza, but his brother Abdullah has also joined the terror group to spread their terror network with sinister plans in the future. Hamza, who has taken over as Al-Qaeda’s chief, is now trying to revive the terra group.

  • According to reports, Hamza is trying to establish new training camps in Afghanistan, especially after Taliban taking over the country.
  • The training camps are being revived to launch attacks on West including United States, Britain.
  • The group is also deepening its relations with the Taliban to garner support for its terror activities.
  • Hamza’s brother, Abdullah, has been tasked to make the Al-Qaeda network more strong by powerful family-led terror dynasty.
  • Hamza is using safe houses in various Afghanistan provinces to facilitate the movement of Al-Qaida between Afghanistan and Iran.

Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden, was officially announced by Al-Qaida senior leader Aiman Muhammed Rabi al-Zawahiri as an official member of the group, UNSC said.   

In March 2018, bin Laden issued a statement through Al-Qaida’s media outlet, citing the role of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, threatening Saudi Arabia and calling on the people of the Arabian Peninsula to revolt. In January 2018, bin Laden released a video on behalf of Al-Qaida, denouncing Saudi Arabia and calling for the overthrow of the monarchy in an effort to recruit viewers to Al-Qaida, the security council added.

UNSC added that in May 2017, bin Laden released an audio message, also on behalf of Al-Qaida, calling on followers to conduct attacks. “In 2016, Al-Qaida issued another audio message from Hamza bin Laden threatening revenge against the United States and warned Americans they would be targeted in the United States and abroad.  Additionally, in 2016, bin Laden called on Saudi Arabian-based tribes to unite with Al-Qaida’s affiliate in Yemen to wage war against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” UN body said.
